El Jefe del Estado destacó que la aplicación de esta ley contribuirá a combatir la informalidad laboral, a la cual definió como “la esclavitud del siglo XXI”.El Decreto Legislativo 1057 beneficiará a más de 81 mil trabajadores contratados irregularmente, muchos de los cuales laboran en municipalidades, oficinas ministeriales y otros estamentos estatales en Cañete.
